That’s the best word to describe this story. I’m a huge fan of contemporary YA romances and I’m completely in love with this book. It goes to the super favorites list.
I connected with Becca in a very personal way and now I have a new book boyfriend because Brett just stole my heart. ❤️
First of all, Wattpad. Yes, as a Wattpad writer myself, I love the majority of stories with Wattpad background. This one was in my tbr for months and I really wanted to read it not only because it was a Wattpad novel but because of all the good things I heard about it… plus, the cover was beautiful and the synopsis just captured me immediately!
Second, the fake dating to real dating troupe is one of my favorites pretty much because is an instant happy ending, it’s a normal story with a classic love, so after reading so much fantasy, I needed it.
Is a fast-read novel, extremely sweet and cute. I couldn’t stop smiling and dreaming about love and those cute high school love stories. Sometimes is necessary to read normal stuff, you know the classic football quarterback falling in love with the straight A+ geek girl, but in this case even though we have multiple tropes like the fake dating to real dating we also have the popular athlete guy with the nerd girl, the perfect family falling apart, and the girl who doesn’t believe in love but fallen in love anyways.
There are tropes for everyone as a good contemporary YA novel, but with this one was crazy because you actually enjoy every second and you can’t stop smiling. It’s a good read if like me you’ve been reading fantasies full of murder and witchcraft for months… it’s like a vacation period for your feelings 😂.
I loved this novel since the beginning and I would love to re-read it 1000% in the future.
